DC 37 African Heritage Committee

   
  The DC 37 African Heritage Committee held its inaugural meeting in May 2011.

Meetings held the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in Room 9.

Mission Statement
The DC 37 African Heritage Committee’s objectives are:

  • To promote opportunities for new initiatives and ideas for growth for African union members within their local unions and affiliates,
  • To advocate tolerance and cultural diversity and promote dialogue and friendship in the African communities, the African diaspora and among other ethnic groups, and
  • To increase political alliances between African union members, the working public and African communities.
