High School Equivalency

High School Equivalency classes are available to prepare you to take and pass the New York State high school equivalency exam – the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC). This replaces the GED exam. The same five subject areas are covered: Math, Writing, Reading, Science and Social Studies. The new exam is administered as a paper-based exam and as a computer-based exam but must take the exam at an official NYS test site. Classes will be held in Washington Heights and Lower Manhattan.
