Milestones in Labor History

Over the course of more than a century, the labor movement has played a profound role in shaping how Americans live and work. Examine the history of District Council 37 and its contribution to the organized labor movement, the relationships of workers to unions, as well as the impact of the labor movement on race, gender and specific political and social movements with this 8-week course. Study materials will be provided and a field trip is planned. Classes meet once per week.
