DC 37 Division Director honored
David Catala, director of the DC 37 Blue Collar Division, was honored by the Dept. of Parks and Recreation’s Latino Society. Catala was the recipient of the Labor Award given to him on Sept. 15 at Ricardo’s by the Bridge Restaurant in Astoria. Catala was honored for his contributions to the labor movement at their annual Alma Achievers Award dinner.
“It’s an honor to be acknowledged for the work that’s done for our members and the city,” said the veteran labor leader.
