Public Employee Press
Halloween at Local 1655
Top priorities in the push for
equality: higher pay, child care, safe homes and workplaces

The Executive Board and stewards of MTA
Clerical-Administrative Employees Local 1655, together with Pres.
Donald Afflick and Treas. Judy Lawrence, did the trick of organizing
a wonderful Halloween party Nov. 1. For the members children
and grandchildren from 3 to 11 who came, it was one big treat, as
the photos show. About 30 teens who attended the annual event
as ghosts, superheroes and ballerinas when they were younger
helped run the party, which included a moonwalk, games and feats
of skill, spin art, a variety of food and a rainbow of punch drinks
(some in colors only a witch would quaff).
