Halloween at Local 1655
Top priorities in the push for equality: higher pay, child care, safe homes and workplaces

The Executive Board and stewards of MTA Clerical-Administrative Employees Local 1655, together with Pres. Donald Afflick and Treas. Judy Lawrence, did the trick of organizing a wonderful Halloween party Nov. 1. For the members’ children and grandchildren from 3 to 11 who came, it was one big treat, as the photos show. About 30 teens — who attended the annual event as ghosts, superheroes and ballerinas when they were younger — helped run the party, which included a moonwalk, games and feats of skill, spin art, a variety of food and a rainbow of punch drinks (some in colors only a witch would quaff).
