Free tax preparation assistance, including electronic filing, is available from Feb. 3 to April 15 for DC 37 members who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit.

To be eligible, you must have at least one child and total family income under $35,000, or earn less than $11,060 with no children. Example: Families with two or more children who earn less than $33,178 ($34,178 for married workers) can receive up to $4,140.
