Free tax prep for members

Don’t spend your hard-earned money on commercial tax preparation at $200 or more. Last year DC 37 helped over 3,100 members get $7.6 million in refunds at no charge. The refunds were electronically filed and directly deposited within 7 to 10 days for most members.

If you (and your spouse*) earn less than the income ceiling,
you may qualify for this free tax filing assistance. No children:
You and your spouse* must earn less than $20,000 total in 2005.
With children: You and your spouse* must earn less than
$40,000 total in 2005.

*Your spouse’s income must be included if you are filing jointly.
