Free tax preparation

Free tax preparation is available until April 15 for DC 37 members who meet eligibility requirements. You are eligible if you have at least one child and earned less than $35,000, or have no children and earned less than $15,000 in 2003. Call 1-866-WAGE-PLUS to find the location nearest your home or workplace. You may qualify for tax credits worth several thousand dollars, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, depending on your income level and family size. Tax preparation for earlier years and amendments for up to the last three years are also available.
