ROSIE THE RIVETER went back into action for
the DC 37s WomensCommittee as T-shirts with her popular image
went on sale to raise funds for a union-wide conference. In photo, from
left, Committee Chair Walthene Primus and members Iona P. Allen, Arlene
Tuff and Phyllis McLean sell shirts Jan. 13. We are working towards
a huge conference on womens issues, said Primus. We
want to encourage everyone to support this fundraiser. We are looking
for women from all the locals to participate. Sales are expected
to soar as March, Womens History Month, approaches. The committee
meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at DC 37.
