Lauds union workers at Queens Hospital

As the partner of a Local 1549 member, I often read the PEP at home. I was so pleased to read that your members at Queens Hospital Center have been recognized for their excellent work.

We have also heard praise for the hospital and staff on the breast cancer hotline at SHARE, Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer, where I work. The Cancer Center has truly saved the lives of women who were heartlessly turned away from private hospitals because they lack health insurance.
