Annuity Fund statements mailed

The DC 37 AFSCME Annuity Fund issued its annual statement to nearly 73,000 account holders in July. For fiscal year 2007, which ended on June 30, the return on fund investments was 11.4 percent. The net return after administrative fees was 10 percent.

The fund was established under the 1995-2000 contract, which provided for a lump-sum contribution for qualified members. Some locals negotiated recurring annuities, which have added additional compensation to the annuitants’ tax-deferred accounts.

A large number of annuitant year-end statements were returned to the fund office as undeliverable. If you believe you are an annuitant and did not receive your year-end statement, please contact the fund office at 212-815-1888.
