Four finish Leadership Institute

Cornell’s Union Leadership Institute offers trade unionists “the tools to tackle the tough issues facing the labor movement.” The one-year program brings together participants from many different unions to hone their leadership skills and learn from each other and the Cornell faculty.

DC 37 provided four recent graduates: Local 374 President Cuthbert Dickenson, Local 1507 President Sirra Crippen, Local 1655 President Kevin Smith and Political Action Director Wanda Williams.

“Meeting people from so many different unions made me really appreciate all the tremendous resources we at DC 37 have at our fingertips,” said Smith.
