DC 37 joins National Night Out
Union activists participated in the annual National Night Out on Aug. 1 all over the city. The yearly event promotes community and police partnership to help reduce crime. There were 70 events around the city in all five boroughs. DC 37 has participated in the annual summer event for the last four years.
Activist Belinda Dixon joined volunteers at Midland Beach in Staten Island, where they shared information with the residents and invited everyone to the Labor Day Parade on Saturday, Sept. 9.
