Volunteer Member Organizers reach out
The Volunteer Member Organizers were busy this summer reaching out to members at city agencies in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Manhattan.
The volunteers spread the message about the state Constitutional Convention, which will be on the ballot for the Nov. 7 general election. Volunteers also urged new members to fill out union cards.
The activists paid two visits to the Human Resources Administration offices in Brooklyn in August and reached out to members at Gouverneur Hospital in Manhattan and Hostos Community College in the Bronx.
Volunteer Member Organizers will be reaching out to members again on Sept. 5 at the New York City Housing Authority at 90 Church St. in Manhattan and at HRA on Sept. 6 at 890 Garrison Ave. in the Bronx.
