United Negro College Fund (UNCF) honors DC 37 leader Lillian Roberts

For her work as Labor Chair during the recent UNCF fund raising drive that raised over $100,000 for UNCF scholarships, District Council 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts (left) receives a plaque from UNCF representative Valerie Cole-Davis (right). This was the largest amount ever raised by labor for the UNCF. Ms. Roberts was honored during DC 37's 25th annual Black History Month Finale at union headquarters on Friday, February 24.

DC 37 is the city's largest public employee union with 121,000 members and 50,000 retirees.
