DC 37, city's largest public employee union,
endorses incumbent congressional and state legislative candidates in democratic
primary
Delegates of District Council 37, the
city's largest public employee union with 121,000 members and 50,000 retirees,
on June 27 voted unanimously to endorse the following list of incumbent
candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives in the Democratic primary
election in September:

DC 37 Delegates also voted unanimously to endorse the attached list of
incumbent candidates for the New York State Legislature in the September
Democratic primary election.
The vote by the DC 37 delegates came following the recommendations of
the DC 37 Screening Committee and DC 37 Executive Board.
"We endorsed this very qualified list of candidates
because they have a proven record of support for the issues that are important
to this union," said DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts. "We
believe these candidates will best represent the interests of the labor
community of our city and our state. With our endorsement comes a pledge
to work diligently on their behalf with our powerful, sophisticated field
operations to get out the vote. We have a proven record of successfully
supporting our endorsed candidates."
