Union backs candidates in City Council races

DC 37 is backing candidates running in the Feb. 20 special elections for two vacant City Council seats.

The union is supporting Emanuele Innamorato for the 51st district seat in Staten Island formerly held by Andrew Lanza.

The union is also supporting Local 1757 member Jesse Hamilton, who is running in the 40th district in Brooklyn. The seat opened when Yvette E. Clarke won a Congressional race in November.
