Bogus memo issued on early-retirement incentive

A bogus memorandum on an early-retirement incentive program was circulated in late February and March, primarily at Health and Hospitals Corp. facilities.

The fake memo pretended that it was issued by the DC 37 Research and Negotiations Dept. to inform union local presidents and division directors about a new early-retirement program.

In fact, everything about the memo is false. It did not come from the Research and Negotiations Dept. or any part of District Council 37, and the city is not offering an early-retirement incentive.
