Library cuts jeopardize services.
"The city's three public library systems are visited by over 30 million people each year, mainly city residents and their families," said John Socha, president of Queens Library Guild Local 1321. "Proposed cuts to Queens libraries amount to 200 employees — equal to the entire staff of 22 branches, or a third of the Queens system."
