At The second job fair DC 37 held for members laid off by the New York City Housing Authority, May 12 at the union, is Construction Project Manager Singh Harpal, a Local 375 member who worked for the housing agency for seven years. Harpal submitted his resume to the School Construction Authority, one of several city agencies at the union’s job fair.

DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts led the way in cutting the number of DC 37 members on the layoff list from almost 200 to 65, and after the job fair she reported that all had been offered positions.
