Walthene Primus is new VP

Walthene Primus, president of NYC Housing Clericals Local 957, was elected as a DC 37 VP and Exec. Board member June 28 at the Delegates Council meeting. In photo, Election Committee Chair Lenora Gates administers the oath of office to Ms. Primus, who was elected at large by the delegates from locals that do not individually represent 5 percent of DC 37’s total membership. Ms. Primus replaces former Local 1219 Pres. Magda DeJesus, who retired, on the Executive Board.
