Topics in Reading Enrichment
Students will be able to enrich their reading skills for a variety of practical applications. The course covers the following topics as needed:
1) Vocabulary in context
2) Main idea both stated and implied
3) Supporting details in a reading selection
4) Understanding inference
5) Patterns of organization: addition, temporal, compare and contrast, cause and effect
6) Drawing conclusions
