Certified Medical Coding Exam Preparation Program
This virtual 128 hour course will prepare individuals to become proficient in medical terminology, the ICD10 and CPT coding systems, reimbursement systems and regulatory guidelines. Upon completion of this course, individuals will receive a certificate of completion, and can apply and take the AHIMA Certified Coding Associate (CCA) exam. The length of this course is approximately 8 months. Course content areas that will be covered include: Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Health Care Delivery Systems and Regulatory Guidelines, ICD-10 and CPT Coding, Reimbursement Methodology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology and Health Information Management. The class will also include a two week review session to prepare for the AHIMA certification exam.

Pre-requisite: Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Previous medical records or coding administration preferred.
