Edwards honored as trailblazer
DC 37 Associate Director Jahmila Edwards was among several African American women recognized at a Feb. 12 ceremony by NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer in Brooklyn during Black History Month. Said Edwards, “I accept this for all of the black women out there who have been recognized, who have yet to be recognized, and for the women who are blazing those unknown paths.”
