Local 3005 leaders re-elected

The members of NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Office of Chief Medical Examiner Technical Professional Employees Local 3005 unanimously re-elected President Jeff Oshins and just about the entire Local 3005 executive board on Monday, April 25, 2022. Professional and Healthcare Assistant Division Director, Tracey Ziemba administered the oath of office.

The executive board now includes Vice President Samantha Rappa-Giovagnoli, Secretary Davida Judelson, Treasurer Wedlyne Guerrier, Executive Board members Dilkwhaz Alshaikly, Kimani Barley and Stephanie Rodriguez and three newly elected Trustees; Steven Di Lonardo, Amada Raker, and Michael Nevejas.

Oshins said, “The win was so important because it offers me an opportunity along with Local 3005’s Executive Board to serve our members for another three years. The members placed their faith in us and in return we will continue to do our best fighting for and protecting our members since there are still many challenges ahead of us that we need to tackle.”

Local 3005 represents City Research Scientists, Criminalists, Water Ecologists, Administrative Public Health Nurses, Chemists, Architects, Engineers, Graphic Artists, and Scientists in Radiological Health.
