This is a summary of the annual report of the financial condition and operations for the District Council 37 AFSCME Annuity Fund Plan, EIN 13-4081131, for the period July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. The Board of Trustees for the District Council 37 AFSCME Annuity Fund Plan has committed itself to pay certain claims incurred under the terms of the Plan.
Basic Financial Statement
The value of plan assets, after subtracting liabilities was $175,352,350 as of June 30, 2021 and $155,186,613 as of July 1, 2020. During the year, the plan had total income of $34,176,196 including employer contributions of $13,425,613, rollovers of $23,099, and investment income of $20,727,484.
Plan expenses were $14,010,459. These expenses included $1,281,363 in administrative expenses and $12,729,096 in benefits paid on behalf of participants and beneficiaries.
