South Korean unionists visit DC 37

During their visit to the United States, a delegation of South Korean union activists came to New York and visited with leaders from District Council 37.
A 15-member delegation of union officials from South Korea paid a visit to DC 37. The delegation was on an American tour of various cities visiting unions around the country. The delegation, made up of representatives who work in public health, policy planning and sanitation, met with DC 37 leaders on May 31 and exchanged ideas with their American counterparts.

This is the second consecutive year the South Korean delegation visited DC 37. “We’re honored to be able to sit down with our Korean brothers and sisters again and learn from each other,” said DC 37 Associate Executive Director Oliver Gray, who welcomed the delegation.
