Lifeguards support PEOPLE
NYC Lifeguards Local 461 and Lifeguard Supervisors Local 508 signed up 1,500 members, along with more than 1,000 members for the PEOPLE program. Local 508 President Peter Stein, Local 461 President Franklyn Paige and Local 508 member Robert Huerta delivered the cards to Executive Director Henry Garrido and Barbara Ingram-Edmonds, director of field operations, at union headquarters on Aug. 22.
