DC 37 2018 Primary Day Endorsements

DC 37 urges all New Yorkers to head to the polls on Primary Day, Thursday, Sept.13. The union urges everyone to support Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Public Advocate Letitia James for New York State Attorney General.
“Gov. Cuomo has been an ally of labor against the Trump administration,” said DC 37 Executive Director Henry Garrido. Cuomo has played a big role in helping to secure funds for the CUNY contract and for the city’s public hospitals.
Our governor has been a primary force in backing labor and progressive causes. He is our choice to continue as governor and stand up against Trump’s radical right-wing cadre in Washington, D.C.
As public advocate, Letitia James has championed immigrant rights, pay equity and has been a supporter of DC 37.
Polls in New York City open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. The general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 6. There’s still time to register to vote in the general election. The deadline is Oct. 12.
