Union a presence at National Night Out events
On a warm, mid-summer evening, union members and activists came out in force to participate in National Night Out, a nationwide event begun in 1984 to increase awareness about various anti-crime programs in communities. DC 37 participated in multiple locations in the Bronx, Harlem, and Queens, with a focus on educating members about their union rights in the workplace and providing important information on DC 37’s benefits.
